Call for Paper

2024-10-11

The Journal of Global Smallholder Studies (JGSS) is thrilled to invite submissions for its first issue, to be published in 2025. We are seeking original research and review articles that explore various aspects of smallholder activities worldwide. This inaugural issue presents a unique chance for scholars and field experts to contribute to a novel forum that promotes the dissemination of knowledge and stimulates dialogue on smallholder-related topics.

Contributors are encouraged to submit papers that align with the journal's scope, including - but not limited to - the roles of smallholders in rural development, educational initiatives, extension services, certification processes, production systems, climate change resilience and adaptation strategies, entrepreneurship, management, sustainable farming practices, and innovative approaches within the smallholder sector. For a detailed outline of the journal's scope, please consult the 'Aims and Scope' section of the JGSS website.

We eagerly await your contributions to the scholarly conversation on global smallholder studies.
