Aims and Scope

The Journal of Global Smallholder Studies (JGSS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Global Smallholder Studies Academy. The journal is dedicated to enhancing the collective knowledge by stimulating dialogue on smallholder-related topics from around the globe. The journal's mission is as follows:

  • To serve as a leading forum for the dissemination of high-calibre, peer-reviewed research that explores the multifaceted economic, social, environmental, and technological dimensions of smallholders; and
